The leader of Pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo has vowed that his group won’t back any candidate for President in the 2023 general election until the current 1999 constitution is changed to reflect true federalism and regional autonomy.

93 year old statesman in a telephone interview with Punch said he does not believe in any election with the current constitution, adding that there is no big deal in the declaration by All Progressives Congress National Leader, Bola Tinubu, that he will be running for the 2023 presidential election.

Hooogenews earlier reported that Bola Tinubu had on Monday said he had informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intentions to run for 2023 presidential election.
